Our Will of Fire – A NaruHina Fanfic – Chapter four – Expect the Unexpected

“Well that’s enough of Naruto’s secrets we’ve shared tonight, there is likely going to be more Hyugaa patrols sent out when this one fails to report in, so we’d better get some sleep because we’re going to have to move come morning.”  Kakashi stated matter-of-factly before heading off to gather Naruto and Hinata and bring them into the cave where they would all sleep.

It wasn’t long before they all drifted off to sleep excluding Kakashi who volunteered to stay up to keep a watch on the prisoners.

Several hours later

A loud shriek woke the four sleeping shinobi from their peaceful slumber, Sakura re-entered reality and opened her eyes to find the area bathed in brightly glowing lavender light.  She found herself blinded by the intensity of the light but she could vaguely make out Kakashi standing shielding his eyes near what seemed to be the source of the light.  She squinted trying to get her bearings and she noticed that the other four shinobi were in a similar state, all shielding their eyes and getting out of their sleeping bags, something was up.

Then the painful scream began again, and Sakura was scared when she recognized the voice, and who it belonged too.  T-that was Hinata!  “Hinata are you okay!? Say something Hinata!” she yelled over the girl’s painful screams, but either Hinata had not heard her, or was in too much pain to head her words.”

“Hinata!” she heard someone yell, and was surprised when she could make out Naruto on his feet approaching Hinata, she tried to move forward and follow him but the chakra was to intense and it began to burn at her skin, she backed off worrying about Naruto, he must have been suffering the same, unless somehow his own chakra protected him.  She looked over at Kakashi wondering how he was able to stand the heat and was rewarded with Kakashi exploding in a poof of chakra as the real Kakashi moved up behind her.  He sent a clone in instead of himself!? He really is a genius.

Hinata’s body hurt, burned.  It felt like her every nerved ending was on fire as she wreathed in agony.  She wasn’t in the real world however, rather she felt all this pain and she was in her dreamscape, the realm where she talked with Shichubi.  She could feel her body changing, just like Shichubi had said it would, but she had never expected it to hurt, especially this much.  “Ah.. AAAAAAHHHH IT HURTS!!”  She couldn’t contain it anymore and she wanted someone, anyone by her side to help her through the pain.

I’m sorry love, but this is for your own good… no matter how much you might hate me for it.

Hinata wasn’t sure why but she was certain there was more meaning to Shichubi’s words then the reference to the pain.

“Please… Naruto… HELP ME!” she screamed as another painful spasm rocked her body.

Suddenly the fire ceased, the burn and the pain all faded, and then the world started to fade until she saw Naruto and several of her friends all looking down at her with something akin to wonder, awe and fear etched on all their faces, all but Naruto who looked sad, like he’d done something wrong.

Sakura looked down at her friend scared at the change she saw in her friend.  Her normally pale lavender eyes were now bright, almost glowing, her incisors were a bit longer then the rest of her teeth, a light violet fur covered parts of her body.  It began at the tip of her elbow moving down like the sharp end of a kunai before ending at the edge of her wrists, it also ran up from around her chest cavity as it seemed to rise up and ended with two streaks on her cheeks, her lower legs followed the same as her arms and Sakura could only imagine what she looked like underneath her clothing.  She no longer had finger nails; rather they were now replaced with small sharp claws which she seemed to be extending, rather like a cat’s.  Her normal ears had disappeared, instead replaced with a furry pair of cat ears that protruded from the top of her head.  And last but not least was the most definite change that had come over her friend, protruding from her underside near her tail bone… were seven long flowing fox like tails, each the same light lavender with the tips a dark purple.

“H-Hinata?” she asked timidly afraid of what had happened to her friend.

Hinata looked down at herself, raising her hands her hopes fleeing at what she saw.  I-I’ve b-b-become a m-monster?  Tears welled up in her eyes, and began to cascade down her cheeks as she saw Naruto looking at her worried.  He hates me… how could he possibly like me now, just LOOK AT ME!  I’m not even human anymore.  I-I can’t live like this.  I can’t let him see me like this.  Tears streaming down her face like a river she jumped to her feet and ran towards the exit at astounding speed.  “Hinata!” she heard Naruto call and Neji jumped in her way trying to block her escape.  To his surprise, and hers, she simply sped up and went around him, from her perspective he was hardly moving any faster then they did when they mock sparred, though the exertion she saw in his motions proved he was putting his all into his actions.

“HINATA COME BACK!” she heard Naruto’s frantic yell but she couldn’t go back, she couldn’t let her friends see her like this, they looked scared of her enough when she wasn’t even moving.

Naruto looked around and saw everyone about to go after her, something he could not allow, if they did it would simply make things worse.  “All of you stay here I’m going after her” he said hurriedly though he expected objections.

“She’s our friend too Naruto and she’s my cousin I’m going too.” Neji said forcefully.

But Naruto was not in the mood to deal with Neji, after all this had to be his fault, those seven tails… only a demon could produce those and he assumed that somehow what he and Kyuubi were doing had caused some side effect on Hinata.  “No Neji if you guys go it will only make things harder for her trust me.”

“How the hell would you know!?” Neji asked angrily.

When Naruto’s face took on a crest fallen look he’d rarely ever seen, he immediately regretted his words, Naruto after all, was the only one among them who truly knew what it was like to be thought of as a monster.  “Neji… trust me when I say I know, I’ll tell you when I get back, it’s about time I told someone else anyway.  But don’t follow me, besides, none of you, even you Kakashi would be able to keep up with her.

Before any one of them could protest further he flew out the door, leaving his forehead protector and pack behind, Hinata was his biggest concern and as the Kyuubi’s power flowed through him he increased his speed, moving even faster then Hinata had only moments ago.

Hinata wasn’t sure where she was going, where she was running… all she knew was that she couldn’t go back to her friends.  They would hate her just like her clan did; they wouldn’t ever want to be friends with, a monster.  She ran through the forest as fast as she could, she had no direction; she just needed to escape, to get away.

She stopped after running for close to twenty minutes, she wasn’t sure how but she didn’t even feel the least fatigued from the exertion.  She approached the edge of the water off to ignoring the sound of the water as it went further down the river before crashing down the waterfall to collide with the water and jagged rocks below.  She shed her clothing entirely so she could see just how much changed had gone on beneath her clothing.  The silky fur was not consistent; rather it appeared on her body almost like a tattoo, delicate but simple.

Her stomach was free of fur except for three smooth curves of fur on each side that made to cross her naval but stopped several inches short on each side.  The fur covered her sides and lower back before curving inward and halting just after her tailbone.  The fur made almost a downward arrow head on her back, with the bottom split starting at her shoulders, it then curved down her front snaking down her front while avoiding her chest excepting a small curve which streaked out over the side of each breast halting at the nipple.

Any onlooker would have thought her extremely beautiful despite her strange features, but Hinata hated herself.  Her friends thought she was a monster she was sure, she hadn’t stayed to find out but she was sure none the less, after all how could they still care for her now that she looked like this.  They wouldn’t even want to be seen with her, she couldn’t return to the village, the people there would probably resort to violence to remove her, after all her clan had tried that once and that was when she hadn’t even looked like a demon.

Slowly she walked out onto the water using her chakra to keep herself on top of the water and from falling in the fast moving rapids.  Slowly she approached the edge of the waterfall looking down; fully accepting that she was about to jump… and at that distance she knew she wouldn’t survive.  “Nobody cares for me anymore, no ones ever loved me since mom died, not father no one…”  She knew she was lying to herself, Hanabi didn’t even know yet… but what did it matter.  “I’m a monster… I don’t deserve any friends; nobody cares for me because nobody should care for me.  No one loves me… b-because I don’t deserve it!”  she cried letting herself tip forward eyes closed with tears in her eyes.

She felt the air begin to rush by as she began to fall forward, however she was stunned when suddenly someone wrapped their arms around her waist, pulling her back up to a standing position.  She could tell simply form the scent who it was, her senses were keener and now that he was here she was surprised she hadn’t smelt or heard him a mile back.  “P-please Naruto” she whispered, “just let me go… I-I don’t deserve to go on living, as a monster the village would never put u-up with m-me anyways.”

Naruto was glad he’d gotten their in time even though he knew he would have gladly thrown himself over the ledge and sacrificed himself to save her, he cared for her just that much.  He hated seeing her like this, the guilt of knowing he was the nearly broke him, she was in so much pain… and it was all, his fault.  “I’m sorry Hinata but I can’t let you jump, I can’t let you take your own life.”

“A-and w-why n-not, do y-you hate m-me so m-m-much that y-you’d make m-me live l-like this with t-the entire v-village h-hating me?” the thought made her tears come even faster and Naruto could swear she was raising the water level with her tears.

“That’s not it at all Hinata it’s because I…” he couldn’t believe what he was about to say, the simple thought of him saying it made the blush on his face intensify, and it was already quite red considering he was so close to Hinata… and she was naked.  “Hinata I… I can’t let you jump because I-I-I… because I love you.”

Hinata’s heart raced and in one of her extreme paced beats her tears stopped and any hint of depression left her.  D-did he just say what I think he said?!  “N-Naruto w-what did y-you just say!?  Silently she hoped she’d heard right, she’d sought his attention for years, just trying to get him to notice her, trying futilely for the longest time to tell him she loved him.  He loving her was something she’d only dreamed of, she didn’t even think he knew she existed until recently.   I hope he said it, oh please say it again, please…

“I said”, he whispered gently spinning her around to look deeply into her gorgeous eyes “that I love you.”  H-he really said it!  He loves me!!!  Hinata could have happily died right there on the spot, her dreams felt like they were coming true, not only had Naruto just professed to love her, but he’d apparently accepted her even though she now looked like a monster.

She felt her cheeks glowing and felt a little light headed, she rarely fainted anymore around him, the time when she’d woken up sleeping beside him was one of the few exceptions, but she knew she would come close now, he’d said it, what she’d heard a thousand times in her dreams but never dared to hope to hear in reality ‘I love you’.  She didn’t care that she was naked, or that Naruto could see her, all that mattered was that he loved her, and that she loved him.

“N-Naruto for so long I-I-I… I love you too” she whispered.  He gently pressed her against him, enjoying her warmth and feeling himself melt as he looked into her bright lavender eyes.  Before he could even come to terms with what his body was doing, he closed the distance between them and pressed his lips tentatively against hers.  He expected her to pull back, or at least hesitate… he was wrong.  The slight brush of her lips against his caused him to jolt as the sensation shot through him, this proved to encourage Hinata who locked her lips on his, her long moving out to massage his own, he wanted this, and apparently so did she.

Hinata could hardly control herself as she felt his lips brush hers, it felt better then she could have believed possible, better even then in her dreams.   It made her crave more, more of him and she pushed herself further into his mouth, using her tongue to explore the insides of his mouth.  They held the position for several minutes, each happy to explore the others mouth, their tongues doing dances even as the two stood still embracing.

Finally they broke apart, both blushing with their faces looking like red tomatoes.  It was then that Hinata realized her lack of clothing, and if possible invented a new color of crimson.  Naruto realized her thoughts and turned and looked away, disappearing and reappearing, hand clasping her cloths and eyes closed.  “T-thank you Naruto for my first kiss” she whispered her breath still coming in gasps after their sensual moment.

“I’m glad you liked it, it was… my first kiss too and I was afraid I was doing it wrong” he said softly turning red in embarrassment.

“Trust me Naruto you definitely, did it right.” She replied turning redder even as she said it.

After she was fully clothed Naruto embraced her again, hugging her close to him causing her to begin to gasp as he took her breath away simply with his presence. “Before we go back to the others, I need to talk to you about some things.”

“Alright Naruto, that’s with me” she replied, she was surprised by her lack of stutter, it seemed that after finally confessing, and learning that he loved her back, she no longer felt nervous around him as her stutter had disappeared.

“You know?” he said slyly breaking their embrace and taking a step back to view her changed form, “You look really, really cute my pretty kitty.”  Although she had lost her stutter, her blush definitely showed no signs of retreating as her face turned a deep red.

“Do you really think so?” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

“I think you’re the most beautiful girl in the entire world.” He whispered taking a step towards her embracing her before nibbling on her new furry ears.  Hinata gasped at the sensation, it was nearly as good as the kiss had been.  Realizing how this made her feel Naruto continued nibbling on her ear causing her to moan softly before his hand ran down her back brushing her tails.  Without thinking he gently grabbed her tail in his hand and ran his hand up its length softly enjoying the silky feel.  This caused and unexpected reaction in Hinata causing her to moan loudly and begin pressing herself against him.

“N-Naruto… t-t-that felt incredible!” she moaned through gasps as he continued to nibble her ear before moving down to kiss her passionately on the lips.  Taking her moans as encouragement he used both hands to stroke her tails, sometimes one at a time sometimes more, each time causing Hinata to moan louder then the first until she was screaming his name.  He was also becoming painfully aware of how tight his trousers felt.

“Naruto <pant> we have to <pant> stop.  I-I’m not ready yet” she said looking at the ground as she finished.

“Its okay Hina-chan, don’t worry about it, all I want is for you to be happy, I’m just glad I was able to make you feel so good.” He said leading her arm in arm off of the water and into the woods, a little ways off he bid her sit down so they could talk.

“So what is it you wanted to talk about?” she asked gently seeing the sadness in his eyes, something she had only seen once or twice over the years in his bright blue eyes, the eyes she was so in love with.

“Well, first let me ask you something, I know this might bring you some bad memories but… I have to know.  Do you remember the day you were kidnapped, umm do you remember a chakra phenomenon that occurred that night?”  The question caught Hinata off guard and she gasped, how does he know about that? The only people there were father and I.

“How… do you know about that?” she asked her expression dark, she remembered that day, it was the day she’d realized her father cared more about his secret then he did about her.

“Then Hiashi really did those terrible things to you...?” Naruto said angrily, he hadn’t meant to address this part of the memory he’d seen but at the moment he wanted to gut Hiashi for what he’d done.

“H-how do you know all this?”  Hinata was worried that Naruto has lived through her memories like she had some of his.

“Somehow I dreamed that memory, even though it’s not mine.” He said softly finally calming down.

“I-I’m sorry you had to see that…” she whispered gently.

“Oh Hinata I’m so sorry!  It’s all my fault, I never thought that it would affect you or anyone else or anything.”  Naruto said suddenly loosing his composure as he began to cry even if just a little.

W-what’s happening?  Why is he crying?  What does he mean it’s his fault, when he had nothing to do with this?  “Naruto it’s not your fault, I don’t understand why you’d ever even think that.”

“Hinata, I-I-I… inside me… is sealed the Kyuubi no Kitsune, the legendary Bijuu who was ‘destroyed’ the day I was born.  That’s the reason the village hates me so much and that’s why your body got changed like it has.” He sobbed.  Hinata was at a loss for words, that was his big secret, he had a demon inside him do, he had THE demon inside him, the nine-tailed fox.  Instinctively she felt the urge to slaughter the villagers, she’d seen what they’d done to him as a child and she thought they deserved nothing more then a painful death.

“I-Is that why you spent your fifth Christmas alone, outside in the snow, freezing to death.”  Naruto’s eyes widened at her knowledge of his past before more tears began to make their way down his face; it was clearly one of his more painful memories.

“T-t-that’s not the point, I mean look at what I did to you, I mean I’m not saying I don’t mind or anything but it’s still my fault, and It’ll be difficult to convince the villagers, but I promise I’ll try, I’ll do everything, I’ll become Hokage and make it so they have to accept you.”  He was crying again and Hinata found she had to say something, he was tearing himself apart with guilt and he wasn’t even the one to blame.

“Naruto this isn’t your fault at all.  The Kyuubi had absolutely nothing to do with this.” She said gesturing at her body.  “Inside me… is sealed Shichubi the seven-tailed cat, another of the Bijuu, I underwent this transformation to avoid the ‘fury’ that all the Bijuu are forced to deal with every few years.”  Now it was Naruto’s turn to be at a loss for words, if he’d heard her correctly not only was it not his fault, but she was undergoing the same changes he would be.

“So that’s what I’m going to look like.  I-I am undergoing the same transformation as you are, but I’m guessing that since Kyuubi has more chakra then Shichubi that It’s going to take longer for me to change physically.  But I’m actually glad... that I’ll be able to suffer with you, that way you won’t have to bear the burden all by yourself.” He said.

“And neither will you” she replied and they embraced once again, parting after a gentle quick kiss.

“Though I am wondering one thing, have you talked with Shichubi since the transformation?”  Naruto asked, even if he was loath to admit it, he didn’t want the fox to leave, he’d grown somewhat attached over the years, after realizing that Kyuubi really wasn’t even evil.

“No but I can tell she’s still there, from the look of things, she likely won’t be able to talk to me until the transformation ends, I know it looks like it’s completed but I can still feel my chakra and her chakra fusing so until that stops I don’t think she could talk to me even if she wanted too.” She relied.  That calmed Naruto’s nerves at least a little, to be honest he didn’t know what he’d do if Kyuubi suddenly up and disappeared.  That and it helped explain the Kyuubi’s strange silence, the last time he’d heard anything from the fox had been four days ago.

Well it’s nice to know that you think of me now and then Kit, without you I have to admit I’d feel quite lonely in here.  The sudden sound of Kyuubi’s voice startled him but also relaxed him, he’d been more worried then he’d thought.  Though he didn’t relax entirely, the Kyuubi’s voice sounded weaker then usual which was something to worry about.

Don’t worry about me kit I’m fine, it’s just that the more chakra I fuse with yours the less power I have, and the less of me remains, don’t worry I won’t disappear, in fact from what’s going on here, it seems that I’m likely going to simply be recomposed by the fused chakra when this is done.  That’s the reason purple eyes can’t talk with her demon, currently Shichubi is in the state where there is not enough of her to talk, until the transformation completes she will not be able to speak.

Well I’m glad your okay, It’s surprising, but if you were to disappear, I don’t know what I’d do, you’re a part of me that over the years I’ve grown to like, without you things would just be… wrong.

Kyuubi, to his surprise sent him both happiness and reassurance through their link, Naruto wasn’t sure what it was, it must have been that lack of power, but it seemed like finally Kyuubi’s mask was disappearing, and the true demon was revealed.  Clearly he was more caring then Naruto had imagined.

Kit, soon, I’m going to be unable to speak to you, and in the in about two days time, you’re going to be the one experiencing change.  Normally I would be able to talk to you until the changes physically manifest, but for that you would have to be asleep.  I’m diverting some of my chakra to keep you awake even while the changes occur so you could help out purple eyes, I knew she’d be in need of help and without you… well I’d say it’s clear that she wouldn’t have made it through.

I-I… Thank you Kyuubi.  He couldn’t think of anything else to say, he’d never heard the fox seem so… nice before, he seemed like a completely new person when he wasn’t worried about appearances.

Kit before I can no longer do so, I would like to show you something, if you would allow me anyway?  Naruto nearly died yet again, never, never before had the fox ever asked him for permission, this was the first time and he was beginning to wonder, that even if the fox didn’t disappear, that he might be a very changed demon to say the least.

Sure why not. He replied.
Dreamscape
Immediately his surroundings began to wave and distort giving him the impression that he was looking at the room through contorted mirrors.  Without warning it suddenly stopped and he now found himself in a completely different place, a clearing surrounded by dense forest.  He couldn’t see where the trees ended, and since this was dreamscape, he was fairly sure that it likely went on forever.  Sitting in the center of the clearing was a fox, or rather THE fox.  But not the fox he recognized.

This new fox didn’t look at all like the demonic bestial predator he’d dealt with throughout his life, but rather like one of the most beautiful things he’d ever seen.  It’s body was long and sleek, with it’s nine majestic tails surrounding it, almost like pillows.  It’s fur was a crimson red with the tips of it’s tails and the stripes over it’s eyes, and paws were a bright white.  Not to mention, small symbol of fire on it’s back which was also white.

“K-Kyuubi? Is that really you?” He asked still getting his breath back after his initial reaction.

Yes Naruto, for once I was allowed to leave my bestial form and simply enter my fox form, I can see that your quite surprised by this sudden changed hmm?

“W-well it’s just that… forgive me for saying this but y-your really beautiful, and I guess I wasn’t expecting it.”

Oh you poor boy, if this surprised you this much I can only wonder what you might think of my human form.  Kyuubi said with a chuckle.

“You mean you can finally revert to your human form?” Naruto asked slightly excited, he’d always wondered what the Kyuubi’s human form would look like and now he’d finally get so see it.  He’d asked before about it but the Kyuubi always just chuckled before telling him that eventually he’d see it and it would surprise him.

Yes Kit I can finally revert to my human form, it’s the reason I asked you here, before I can no longer see or talk to you for a time, I wanted to show you my real form.

Naruto took several steps back and motioned for the Kyuubi to begin, he was quite excited over the prospect of what the Kyuubi might look like and, never being one for patience he was nearly hopping up and down on the spot.

Prepare yourself Kit.  Before Naruto could reply and tell Kyuubi to get on with it, a bright crimson glow surrounded the fox, temporarily leaving him blind to not only the fox, but his surroundings in general.

Slowly his eyesight began to return and he shook his head to clear the blur before looking up to regard the figure before him… the FEMALE figure. He couldn’t help but hold his breath, and he wondered if his heard stopped in his chest as he looked upon her.  Much like Hinata, to say that Kyuubi was drop dead gorgeous would have been an insult rather then a compliment.  Kyuubi, was possibly even prettier then Hinata.  She stood nearly as tall as he did, roughly Hinata’s height, appeared roughly the same age, and she was very well…developed.  Her chest, hips, butt and legs, the first things Naruto noticed seeing as how she was clothed in nothing but a crimson gold bra and matching panties…, were absolutely perfect, the only girl Naruto had ever seen who matched Hinata in those departments.  Her hair was a flowing crimson whose length reached down to her rear, in place of regular ears she had, a pair of furry fox ears that protruded from the top of her head, almost exactly like Hinata. Claws dotted the ends of her fingers rather then nails.  Fur covered parts of her body, as it did Hinata’s but Naruto could make out slight differences in the pattern, not to mention that Kyuubi’s fur was a profound crimson with the streaks in it a radiant white.  She was smiling, her elongated canines looking VERY sexy, not to mention the three red widened fur whiskers on her cheeks.  Behind her swayed her nine long foxy tails, the only part of her that hadn’t seemed to change.

She simply stood there waiting for him to reply, smiling all the more when he simply stared at her, his jaw nearly reaching the floor, and his eyes doing their best to escape from their sockets.

“Y-y-y-you’re a GIRL!?!” he nearly screamed the question. How could the Kyuubi, the demon he’d been scared of his entire life be a woman… not to mention a very, very hot one.

“Surprised kit?”  She asked with a chuckle, her melodic, feminine voice causing him to shiver delightfully.

“Hard to believe isn’t it?  That, the me you saw before was really this me in disguise?”

Naruto merely nodded trying to keep his eyes on her face, he didn’t consider himself a pervert, but… how could he not look?  She was standing there before him nude in a very provocative pose… and as much as he hated to even think it, if he was looking at a girl this beautiful, he could understand Ero-sannin’s ways.  He did his best to ignore it but he could already feel the strain in his pants where a large bulge was forming.

“B-but Kakashi said that you and Shichubi were…close, but s-she’s a girl!

“So?”  Naruto felt the bulge in his pants grow at this simple revelation, and he blushed all the more because of it.

“Oh naughty, naughty kit,” she said noticing the effect her body had on him, her voice sounding extremely sexy.  “You’ve only just seen the real me and your body’s already showing me exactly what it wants.  I haven’t even showed you what I can rrreally do.”  She sauntered towards him swaying her hips as she moved.  Naruto found it mesmerizing and as much as he wanted to move, to get away he couldn’t.  ‘MOVE DAMMIT, I can’t do this with her, I love Hinata!’ he thought to himself willing his body to move, but as much as his mind wanted to move, his body clearly wasn’t listening.

“Don’t worry Kit, after all she’s out there and I’m in here, I get you when you sleep, and she gets the real you, so I’m not technically stealing you from her… unless you want me to.”  She whispered, purring in his ear, as she pressed herself against him.  Naruto gasped, not only from the thrill of contact but also from the effect her words had on him.  When she purred he found his resolve weaken, it sounded so innocent, and yet implied so many things that his already blushing face flushed violently, as some of the possible ‘things’ ran through his mind.

“P-please Kyuu~” he began before she interrupted him.

“Kit my names Rhynn…  Don’t worry I don’t bite… much, unless you like that kind of thing.” She said before pressing her lips against his.  He could hardly describe the feeling, it was heaven, it was hell, it was bliss, it was pain, all of those emotions coursed through him as they kissed.  He tried to pull away, this wasn’t was HE wanted, it was what his body wanted but not his mind.  He loved Hinata, and she loved him, he couldn’t allow this to happen, least of all with Kyuubi, or rather Rhynn.  “And why not hmm… I’m willing to share you.” She whispered in between breaths, lust evident in her eyes.  It seemed she could still read his mind unless he bothered to hide it, a fact that bothered him more then a little.

Naruto began to panic, no matter what he did or how hard he concentrated, he couldn’t move his body, he figured that it was Rhynn’s doing seeing as how he seemed to have no trouble moving, so long as it was in a way she wanted him to.  However suddenly an idea came to him, if she lost concentration then maybe he could escape.  He brought his hands around Rhynn’s neck and pulled her harder against him, eliciting a delighted gasp from her.  Little did she know, she had no idea what she was in for.  Before she could comprehend his actions, he grabbed all her tails at the base and began to run his hand up the length, petting them to speak.  This might as well have been her on switch as she moaned loudly, before preceding to scream lustfully.  Naruto smirked, Hinata must have been doing her best to control herself when he’d done this to her, because Rhynn was definitely enjoying herself.  He continued petting her tails sending her into ecstasy, where she continued screaming his name, as soon as the screams began he felt himself begin to regain his ability to move normally.

He knew he should have stopped there, but for some reason, he felt compelled to continue, to finish the job, and not leave her unsatisfied.  So he increased at which he rubbed her flowing tails, her screams getting louder and louder, even going so far as to scream his name, which sent delightful shivers down his core.  Suddenly when apparently she couldn’t take anymore she let out one last screaming moan, louder then all the ones leading up to it, she’d been laying on the ground at this point, Naruto beside her, and she simply lay there with a look of utter bliss on her face.  Fearing what she might try to do next Naruto leapt to his feet and booked it into the trees, until he found one which seemed slightly hollowed out.  He crept inside and hoped that Rhynn wouldn’t find him, her screams and moans had nearly broken what little resolve he’d had left.  If not for his love for Hinata he knew he would never have been able to resist Rhynn’s charms.

Slowly the world began to leave and Naruto knew he was heading back to reality, before he left entirely however he heard Rhynn’s voice again. “Your lucky you escaped this time kit, but next time… I wonder if you’ll be able to resist, besides, I know you would enjoy it just as much as me… well almost as much.  I can’t wait until it’s time for you to sleep…” she said sending him an image of her licking her lips, her stance implying exactly why she was impatient.
End Dreamscape

“Well I guess we’re gonna be heading back, the others are really worried about you and would have followed them out here if I hadn’t made them stay, Neji’s probably ready to kill one of the prisoners considering how long we’ve been gone.”  Naruto said after waking up from talking with Kyuubi, or rather Rhynn as she liked to be called.  Oddly he had a very red blush on his face when he looked at her, this caused Hinata to blush as well though she wasn’t sure what exactly he was thinking about.  This proved as a distraction and it was clear that Naruto was embarrassed about something, but she could wait to get that out of him. Hinata hadn’t realized that they’d been out that entire long, but when she glanced at Naruto’s watch she realized that they’d been gone for over two hours.

“Ya I guess we should, I wouldn’t want Neji killing anybody on my account.”

The pair departed, heading back towards the camp where they would both have to reveal some of their secrets in order to explain the current events.

As she ran, her seven lustrous tails blowing in the wind behind her, Hinata dwelled on the major turn her life had taken.  First off she’d realized that inside her dwelled one of the nine Bijuu who had physically changed her to prevent her from loosing her mind in the ‘fury’, then the boy she’d loved her entire life had come after her, accepted her physical transformation and then of all things, told her he loved her.

Hinata ran over the moment again and again in her head, of all the things she’d ever hoped to hear in her life, those were the words.  She felt her cheeks begin to glow as she relived the moment and then burn as she remembered their brief encounter afterwards.  Who would have though they could be so sensitive?  She thought, glancing back at her tails, she had to admit, if only to herself that she liked them.

The fact that Naruto had accepted her appearance stated he even liked the change, did wonders for her confidence.  Where before hand she’d thought of herself as a monster, now she didn’t even really mind, in fact the changes actually did quite a bit of good even without including the fact it kept her sane.  Her hearing was heightened to the point that during her initial run from her friends she’d had a hard time distinguishing from all the noises.  Secondly her eyesight, which had been exceptional even before hand due to the Byakugan was if possible, even better.  Thirdly and possibly the most noticeable was her heightened sense of smell.  She could already faintly smell the scents of her friends even though they were still quite a few kilometres away.  And lastly was the increase in her physical abilities, she was much faster then before, easily keeping pace with Naruto who was now at least as fast as Lee, her strength had also increased enormously.

I’m at least ten times as strong as I was before.  She’d found that part out accidentally, she had just been kidding when she’d given Naruto a playful punch on the shoulder, in fact she’d been very timid doing it as it was the first time she’d ever really done something like that, with anybody even her friends.  To Naruto’s dismay, the little smack had sent him flying clear through the air to collide a good twenty feet away against a tree.  “Jeez Hinata did you have to hit so hard, if i were anybody else you could have killed me there.”  He’d said, though he didn’t complain about it in the slightest when she’d given him a ‘make-up’ kiss.

She was drawn from her thoughts when she found herself assaulted by the sound of footsteps around the trees, she listened more carefully and could make out roughly ten different people, and none of them could be her friends, she recognized the scents of her friends which was the only reason she could pick them out from the rest of the smells the forest provided.  Had she been better used to her heightened senses she could have easily detected the intruders before they were even within a square mile of her, but as it was she was just sensing them now.  Noticing that they were coming closer she grabbed Naruto by the arm and dragged him behind the trunk of a particularly large tree.  “What are you do~” He was cut off as she raised her fingers to his lips before whispering, “there are other shinobi out there, at least ten and none of them are our friends.”

Naruto immediately took on a more serious expression and Hinata was amazed at how much he resembled the fourth when he didn’t have his forehead protector.  “Can you use the Byakugan to identify them?” he asked softly.

“I-I… I can try.” Naruto did not miss the hesitation in her voice and sent her a questioning glance.  “Well… um… it doesn’t feel the same… I’m afraid of what might happen if I use it after this transformation.”  Naruto nodded in understanding, moving to take a peek around the corner when she pulled him back in. “I-I’ll give it a try” she whispered.

Taking a deep breath to steady herself for whatever was to come she muttered the name of her bloodline, “Byakugan”.  Naruto was surprised when none of the veins around her eyes popped out, but rather her eyes got a little brighter.  But when Hinata gasped he knew she must have been far more surprised then he was.

Hinata couldn’t stifle the small gasp that escaped her lips as her kekkai genkai was activated.  She could see EVERYTHING; every little detail on every little bug, every tree branch, nothing escaped her gaze.  A few years back when she’d been on a mission to find the a rare bug to help Naruto locate Sasuke, she’d hardly been able to concentrate enough to find small thinks like bugs quickly.  But now she was seeing everything in a new light, not to mention that her gaze no longer had a white tint, but a violet one, she could now pick out the individual scales and plates on even the tiniest of bugs, all with little to no effort.

And so it was with little effort that she located the ten, or rather eleven shinobi approaching, she nearly lost herself in how detailed their chakra systems now appeared.  She could make out all 320 of their chakra points, something even Neji couldn’t do, he could pin point and attack most of them, but he could only see roughly half of them, the most major ones.  Strangely one of the shinobi, the leader, three of his chakra points which were clustered together glowed, of all colors, black.  She didn’t realize how distracted she’d become until they were nearly right in front of them, running through the tree’s towards the village in the tree lines only close to 300m away.  She made out the head band almost immediately and what she saw scared her.

“I-It’s sound shinobi!” she whispered urgently to the blond boy beside her.  If her statement scared Naruto even a little he didn’t show it, he seemed rather more concerned with the direction they were heading.

“Hinata we have to stop them, if they’re from sound then they’re up to no good, and I don’t like the fact that they’re heading towards the village, they’re already far past the boundary and don’t belong here.”  Hinata understood what Naruto was getting at, there was no reason the sound should be there, Konoha had cut off all relations with the sound excluding their participation in the chunin exams, and that was only allowed because not all of the nations had outlawed the sound meaning they were free to participate.  But even though the chunin exams were only in a few weeks, none of the members of the sound party were genin, in fact most were above chunin, and so they had no business there.

“Alright Hinata I’ll get their attention from in front, while you come in behind and deal with ‘em.  I don’t want to kill any of them unless it can’t be helped, but if you have to don’t hesitate.”  Hinata nodded, she could tell from the look in Naruto’s eyes that during his training he’d been forced to kill, she could also tell that it hadn’t gone well with the boy, Naruto was one to avoid killing unless absolutely necessary.

With that Naruto disappeared with a small poof before her leaving her to sneak up behind the enemy group, with her new found senses it wouldn’t prove terribly difficult.

She approached in the shadows, completely silent despite her movement speed.  She trailed the team waiting patiently for Naruto to make his entrance, though she thought with a smirk, considering she was as close as she was and they hadn’t even detected her presence, she figured she might have been able to ghost the entire team herself.  As soon as the thought crossed her mind her eyes widened, it wasn’t like her at all to think like that.  She wasn’t sure why but after Naruto had accepted her, well apparently it had affected her confidence, she wasn’t used to feeling like this, feeling like she could do something herself, without the need of somebody else to help her.

The only times previous that she’d felt like this were when Naruto had cheered her on, or when she’d been forced to protect him which wasn’t very often.  She had to admit, it felt good, it felt nice to be able to trust her own abilities were enough, it was the long awaited confidence boost she’d needed for so long.

Her thoughts fled when she heard the familiar voice of the man she loved.  He appeared in a flash right in front of the group of shinobi who were stunned by his sudden appearance, even to Hinata he moved quickly, meaning that the group in front of her probably couldn’t even pick up on the movement.  But even more amusing to her was that he did not appear so much as Naruto, but rather he looked essentially exactly like the fourth, he’d used a henge to hide his whiskers and make himself appear to be wearing the same cloths Yondaime had always donned.  Oh Naruto, even in this situation you just have to be dramatic don’t you.

The combined entrance of Naruto with his appearance as the Yondaime clearly had it’s desired effect, the group stopped dead in their tracks some of their faces looking shocked, these were older shinobi, likely exiles that had joined sound, but every single one of them clearly recognized the legendary Yondaime, Konoha’s Yellow flash.

Hinata tried hard not to laugh when some of the older members, ones who had likely seen the fourth’s prowess take an involuntary step back.  “I-it’s n-not possible… y-your dead!” one of the sound nin stated unable to keep himself from stuttering.

“I know you all know who I am, unless you wish to feel the wrath of the yellow flash firsthand I suggest you leave immediately.”  Naruto spoke with his usual confidence, but none of his usual boisterousness was transferred in his speech, setting some of the ninja back on their heels.

Some of them started unconsciously backing away from the intimidating figure, until the leader of the group stepped forward, “It’s a henge you fools, and you think your all ready to serve Orochimaru and yet you cannot even detect a henge such as this!” The man wore a dark black kimono much like Akatsuki however where Akatsuki’s were covered with red flowers, this one was covered in purple marks resembling snakes, he wore his hood over his head and it obscured most of his face.  The man gestured with his hands and the henge disappeared leaving almost exactly the same person but with three whiskers on each cheek and wearing different cloths.

The lack in change in his opponent was obviously disconcerting for the leader, he’d likely expected some leaf jounin blocking his path, rather then someone who looked almost exactly liked the fourth, wearing black and orange clothing.  However as he focused in on Naruto’s face he clearly recognized the distinct whiskers and smirked.  “Seems we finally meet Naruto Uzumaki, our master wishes your demise, he see’s you as a rival.  I can’t wait to eliminate you.”

The commander referring to his leader as Sasuke rather then Orochimaru clearly had an effect on Naruto as his eyes narrowed and his confident grin was replaced with an angry frown.  “So you mean Sasuke is in charge now?  I take I Orochimaru is busy with something else at the moment?”

“That is not your concern you will not be leaving this battle alive.” The man replied his tone indicating how superior he felt.

“Well if I’m not to be leaving then tell me why you’re moving towards Konoha, you have no business their sound Nin.”  Naruto asked without skipping a beat in their little war of words.

“Hmph… well I suppose it can’t hurt seeing as how I’m going to kill you, all you really need to know is that… Konoha will not live through the month, we may have failed at the chunin exams, but this time… victory is assured.”

“Stupid fool…” Naruto’s confident comment put the sound nin on his heels. Did the boy know something he didn’t?  “I… will never let that happen.”  The change that came over Naruto was hard for Hinata to comprehend let alone describe.  His stance changed as he looked over at the enemy shinobi, a confident grin plastered upon his face, and most notable of all… his eyes.  They narrowed, his brow coming down until none of the white above his eyes was visible, it gave him the most determined, as well as defiant look she’d ever seen.  Just to add to his fierce appearance, his chakra, now a bright gold, swirled around him, there was so much of it that it was visible to all present, the intensity.  Hinata just looking at him, gave her the impression that, she could never win, never come close to defeating him… it scared her.

The members of the sound all took a step back, the commander included, clearly they had no idea how much Naruto had improved during his time with Jiraiya.  “Y-Yondaime?” this caused Hinata to recount something she’d heard during her studies at the Hyugaa household, the fourth’s glare, a look that caused shinobi to immediately surrender without putting up a fight, all after an incident in which single handily, he’d obliterated a fifty man shinobi squad that had been sent to attack Konoha.  Those injured that were present said that if they ever saw him point that gaze their way, they would not even hesitate to surrender.  He’s like him in so many ways it’s almost unbelievable.  His hair, his trademark grin, his kind-heartedness, his dream to become Hokage, even his eyes, could he possibly be…?

Her thoughts got no further as Naruto struck, bringing his hands into a familiar seal yelling “Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!” causing the entire area to fill with clones, even with the Byakugan Hinata couldn’t count them all.  “For… every single person in the village… I will make you… PAY!”  all the Naruto’s shouted at once.  As the one the Naruto’s converged pummelling the sound nin, not even the commander was able to hold up under the tremendous onslaught, they killed hundreds, but the torrent did not stop, until none but the commander remained conscious.

“W-W-WHO ARE YOU!?!” he screamed as the clones surrounded him on every side ready to deliver the final blow.

“The next Hokage.” Hinata said appearing at the side of the real Naruto who stood out in front of the head sound nin.  The commander nearly fainted when he saw Hinata, and she used her appearance to her distraction striking his temple with as little force and chakra as possible, though it was still enough to knock him unconscious.  The army of Naruto’s tied up the enemy ninja and began running back towards the village.

“They’ll take the prisoners to Ibiki, maybe he can get something out of them about what’s about to happen.” Naruto told her as he began rummaging through the supplies the commander had been carrying; he eventually located what he’d been searching for when he came across a sealed scroll, it had seals written upon the outside and Naruto knew that if he even tried to open it, it would destroy the contents and possibly harm him as well.  “Hinata, can you see what’s written inside this scroll? I can’t open it because it’ll probably just destroy the writing or self-destruct or something.”

Hinata took the scroll from him and with her Byakugan active began reading the scroll becoming more and more disturbed the further along she got.  “Naruto… the sound are planning an invasion of Konoha, and this time we’ll have more against us then just one other shinobi village, although they only use codenames in here I believe the sound has allied with the rock village AND the cloud village.  We’ve got to get this to Tsunade right away, send one of your clones with this to her and get him to tell her not to open it and rather to have someone from my clan look at it instead.”  Naruto was surprised by her quick thinking and her ability to take hold of the situation.

“You know,” he said hugging her close causing her to blush deeply, any sign of her strength melting before him, “you’re a great leader Hinata, your clan just never had the insight to see it.”  His words warmed Hinata’s heart and she hugged him all the tighter glad to simply bask in the heat that radiated from his body.

“We should get back to the others, I can’t smell any other people around them other then the captured patrol men, so I don’t think they’re in any real danger, but we should tell them what’s going on, about then enemy, and… about us.”  Naruto’s playful look sobered up a bit at this and they began heading back towards camp to tell their friends.

Sakura sat with her head in her hands staring at the ground, she was worried, very much so, Naruto and Hinata had left more then three hours ago and they still weren’t back yet, not a good sign.  What worried her even more was the look she’d seen in Hinata’s eyes before she’d run off.  She thinks we hate her, she thinks we’ll never accept her just because of the way she looks.  She should have known better, we would never abandon her, no matter what.  At least Naruto was the one to go after her, he more then anyone else… understands what its like to be called a monster.

She looked up to see her comrades expressing their worry in their own way, Neji pacing back and forth eyes closed with a grimace on his face, Lee endlessly punching a tree trunk regardless of the fact his fists were bloodied, Tenten twirling a kunai around her finger while she closed her eyes and thought, and lastly Kakashi, the hardest to read of the bunch.  The only outward difference she noted was that every few minutes he’d stop reading his book to gaze down the path where Naruto and Hinata had run off, she expected it was as hard for him not to follow the two as it was for the rest of them.

I hope their okay, especially Hinata, it must be hard for her to suddenly wake up looking like that, I hope Naruto doesn’t do anything stupid while he’s out their, she loves him, always has and this would not be a good time for him to do something stupid.  Thoughts and memories assaulted her mind, most bringing a smile to her face, all the times Naruto caused Hinata to faint even without knowing it, the time he’d scared the life out of her at the hospital and she’d head butted him, all the memories that made her laugh, they were meant for each other, she was sure of it and she hoped that no matter what happened today, Naruto would still end up with her.  At least there’s no chance of Naruto thinking of her as a monster, he knows all to well what that’s like and he wouldn’t wish it on another person.

She sat up immediately, abandoning the numerous optimistic thoughts running through her head as two outlines appeared in the shadow of camp, to her surprise walking arm in arm.

“Hinata! Naruto! Your both okay!” her sudden outburst sent all of the shinobi aside from Kakashi rushing over to the two.  Neji hugged his cousin the faintest shred of wetness in his eyes, Tenten and Sakura both started crying as they embraced Hinata and Lee comforted Tenten while giving Hinata a friendly pat on the back.

Kakashi was for the most part absent from the reunion but even he joined in, ruffling Hinata’s and Naruto’s hair posing some witty comment about their arm in arm arrival which caused both Naruto and Hinata to blush furiously.

None of them seemed to care about her sudden shift in appearance and they all expressed this in words, telling her that she would always be their friend, Sakura and Tenten went so far as to admire her tails with even a slight hint of Jealousy.

“Guys there’s some stuff we need to tell you, about us, and about Konoha.”  Naruto said breaking the reunion apart gesturing for them all to sit down.  They all did so Naruto and Hinata being the last to take a seat with Naruto sitting and Hinata sitting in his lap resting her head against his chin and shoulder.  This caught all of them by surprise, and from the look on Neji’s face he wondered if anything had happened between the two while they were gone.

“First off, Neji I would just like to say that, no nothing like that happened while we were gone so you can stop looking at me like you’re going to kill me in my sleep.”  Neji blushed slightly and looked at the ground embarrassed causing all of the girls to giggle a little.

“Secondly Hinata and I have some things that you guys might find a little disturbing, and frankly scary, all I can ask is that you don’t think of us as being any different then us.”  Naruto was confused when the entire group looked at him in sadness, he had the strange feeling that somehow they already knew.  “Well I’ve never been really good at this sorta thing so I’ll just say it.  Inside me is sealed the Kyuubi, the demon fox that attacked the village seventeen years ago.”

As he finished he closed his eyes and cringed, expecting at least one of them to hit him.  When no blow came he saw them all looking at him with sad eyes.  “A-aren’t you going to hit me, I mean I’ll understand if you all hate me…” he said looking at the ground in shame.  This caused Sakura and Tenten to start crying, and Naruto figured it was because they hated him, and so he was surprised when he felt Lee’s hand on his left shoulder, Neji’s on his right and Sakura and Tenten standing in front of him looking at him with the saddest looks he’d seen since Sasuke left.

“We’re so sorry Naruto… that you had to go through all that without anybody else.  W-we already know, you don’t have to say anymore, we don’t h-hate you, we’re just sorry you didn’t tell us sooner, so that we c-could have helped you through it.”  This caught Naruto completely by surprise... How could they already know!?  I’ve never told anyone except Hinata and that was only a few hours ago.  His gaze went immediately to Kakashi who simply smiled at him.

“It was time they knew, after what happened when you were asleep it would have been worse if I hadn’t.”

“What do you mean what happened when I was asleep?  What happened when I was sleeping?” he asked, it was only now that he wondered why there were nearly a dozen Hyugaa tied up off to the left of the campsite.

“We were attacked by that patrol of Hyugaa over their, we defeated the first team but when the second attacked we were surrounded and captured, it was during that time that Kyuubi came out.”  This caused Naruto to visibly turn white as snow, he clearly didn’t like the thought of the Kyuubi coming out without his permission, or even knowledge.

“He didn’t do anything bad right?  I mean he’s not really evil, the only reason he attacked the village was because he could control himself… please tell me he didn’t kill anyone?” he asked urgently, he didn’t need another death on his conscious, not after the one he already had from his training with Jiraiya.

“You needn’t worry Naruto he didn’t kill anyone, though I must admit, even after feeling it myself first hand, I still had a hard time remaining conscious against that killing intent, the Hyugaa of course were not so lucky.  After dealing with them he tied them up before leaving you to pass out again.”  Everyone here witnessed the whole thing except for Hinata, I had to explain it.”

Hinata looked around and caught some of them looking around, not making eye contact, they knew something they weren’t saying and she had the strangest feeling that she knew what it was.

“Kakashi did you know anything about Naruto’s parents?”  Her question caused the other four shinobi to tense and Kakashi’s eye to widen if only for a split second.  “So you do know something.” She stated staring at Kakashi, the only one who could possible know the whole truth of the matter.

Kakashi sighed, “You know Hinata, much like Naruto’s mother, you can be to intuitive for your own good.”  Naruto’s eyes widened to the size of dinner plates at the mention of his mother, he’d never known his parents and this might be his chance to learn who they were.

Speaking slowly and deliberately he asked, “Kakashi… did you know… my parents?”

Kakashi saw the look in his face, he looked like a young infant hanging on his every word, and it saddened him to see Naruto of all people like this.  He must have spent every lonely minute wondering who his parents were, if they were dead or if they’d simply abandoned him.

“Yes Naruto I did no your parents, better then most actually… I’m sorry I’ve waited this long to tell you, but I didn’t think you were ready yet.”  Naruto simply stared at him eyes wide pleading; he wanted to know so badly who his parents were.

“Naruto your mothers name was Kouen Uzumaki, she was a princess from a shinobi clan that was wiped out during the time of the Great War, I’m sorry to say that… she’s dead, she died the same night as your father, the day she gave birth to you.”

Tears could be seen welling up behind his eyes before he took a deep breath, burying them like he had all his emotions over the years, hiding them behind his mask away from prying eyes.  I can’t say as I expected anything else, from the very start I figured they were dead.

“They both died fighting the Kyuubi that’s sealed inside me didn’t they?” he said, sadness evident in his tone.

“Yes they did, your mother was weak after giving birth to you, but she went out to battle beside your father all the same, she knew what he planned to do and she died giving him the time to accomplish it.”

“Who- Who was my father?” he asked, he wondered, after all he had his mothers name rather then his fathers, that meant that likely his father was someone of no consequence, but why then would Kakashi refer to his fathers great accomplishment.

“Naruto your father… he was possibly the greatest shinobi ever to live, he resembled you almost exactly, his loyalty, his determination, his dream to become Hokage.  Naruto your fathers name was Arashi and he was the fourth Hokage.”

Naruto felt like someone had taken a bag of brick and slugged him across the face, of all the things he’d expected that had not been one of them, not even close.  “A-are y-you s-s-serious?” he couldn’t keep the tremble out of his voice, to know that he had a father, and that his father was the hero of the village, it made him feel that much better to know that he came from somewhere, his parents were distinguished shinobi who’d died to save the village.

Hinata saw how much of an effect this had on her love and she snuggled into him putting her arm around him and hugging him, comforting him.  “Think about it Naru-kun… even after those sound nin removed the henge several of them still thought you were him, you two might as well be identical.”

“Sound nin?” Kakashi asked not missing a beat.  Naruto tried to shake himself from his trance but couldn’t quite manage and so Hinata answered for him.

“On our way back we detected other shinobi and I could tell from their scent that it wasn’t any of you, so we hid.  We observed the group of shinobi as they made their way towards the village and noticed they were sound nin.  Knowing they were up to no good we intercepted them and incapacitated them.”

“You two took out a whole group of sound nin alone?  You two must have improved more then I imagined.” Kakashi stated.

“Actually Naruto did most of the work, when the captain said he was going to destroy the village, well let’s just say Naruto here got a little upset and they all paid for it.”

“Don’t downplay your own actions Hinata, that commander guy’s going to be suffering from a headache for the rest of his life.” He replied with a grin, hugging her close causing her to blush from all the smirks Tenten and Sakura were throwing her way.

“Anyway”, Naruto continued, his tone loosing its enthusiasm, sounding quite grave, “from the looks of that, the group we took out was a scouting party, and Hinata got some information out of a sealed scroll but from what we found out… things aren’t looking good.”  The group sat silently waiting for him to give them the bad news.  “We’re going to be invaded, and not just by sound, they’ve allied themselves with our old enemies, the cloud and the rock villages.  The attack will take place before the end of the month.”

Everyone of the shinobi their with the exception of Hinata and Naruto looked pale as ghosts.  They’d all experience some form of war over the years, all of them had at the chunin exams when sound had first tried to destroy Konoha, not to mention that Kakashi had even fought during the tail end of the Great War.  The fact that there was an impending invasion that had a good chance of destroying their home was a little difficult to accept.
Well here's chapter four for all of you to enjoy (hoped you liked the little plot twists, though the really big ones are coming soon enough) :). As usual i won't bother with the discalimer because i know you all know i don't own Naruto anyway. Hope you enjoy this, the next chapter will be out by firday, unless unforseen unfortunate circumstances were to occur.

Am I the only one that wants to see hinata drawn out
